Mountain stream on Kauai

Stream and Waterfall

The place where the mountain stream meets the ocean is how one local describes the setting of The Aloha House. That stream is Waikomo Stream, and you can hear it tumbling by from anywhere on the property. Waikomo Stream is part of the atmosphere at The Aloha House.

Humpback whales return to the waters off Kauai every winter, to mate and calve their young. You can see the whales from shore, just down the street from The Aloha House. You don’t even need binoculars. To spot one, look for a plume of spray against the horizon.
